Terms and Conditions

Nordisch Alchemy

These Terms and Conditions apply to all classes, workshops, events, training programmes and retreats offered by Nordisch Alchemy, both in person and online.

1. Registration and Contract

By registering for a class, workshop, event, training programme or retreat, you enter into a binding contract. Registration can be completed via our website, by email or in person. A confirmation will be sent by email following successful registration.

2. Payment

Participation fees must be paid in advance, either online or in person, unless different payment terms are specified for the individual offer.

For workshops and events requiring a deposit or reservation fee, the payment conditions stated at the time of booking apply. The remaining balance must be paid according to the agreed payment arrangements.

3. Cancellation Policy

We aim to keep our cancellation policy clear and fair while ensuring reliable organisation for everyone involved. Please take a moment to read the following terms before booking.

3.1. Class Bookings

  • Cancellations up to 24 hours before class: You may cancel or reschedule your booking free of charge.

  • Late cancellations within 24 hours of class: The full class fee will be charged or deducted from your class pass or package.

  • No-shows: The full class fee will be charged or deducted from your class pass or package.

  • Classes with only one registered participant: Nordisch Alchemy reserves the right to cancel a class if only one person is registered to attend. In this case, you will not be charged, or any payment already made will be refunded or credited.

3.2. Class Passes and Packages

  1. Class passes and packages are generally non-refundable. However, they may be transferred to another person if you are unable to use them.

  2. All class passes and packages have a specified validity period, which will be stated at the time of purchase.

  3. Extensions may be granted in cases of illness or exceptional circumstances, following individual consideration and at the discretion of Nordisch Alchemy.

3.3. Workshops, Retreats, Training Programmes and Special Events

A deposit or reservation fee may be required to secure your place at a workshop, retreat, training programme or special event. The amount and payment arrangements will be communicated at the time of booking.

Unless different terms are specified for the individual offer, the following cancellation policy applies:

  • More than 14 days before the event starts: The reservation fee will be refunded in full.

  • 7 to 14 days before the event starts: 50% of the reservation fee will be refunded.

  • Less than 7 days before the event starts: The reservation fee is non-refundable.

If the remaining balance has already been paid, the cancellation terms explicitly stated at the time of booking will apply to that amount.

If you are unable to attend, you may nominate a substitute participant after notifying us in advance. No additional fee will generally be charged for changing the participant, provided there are no specific organisational or event-related reasons preventing the substitution.

3.4. Cancellations by Nordisch Alchemy

If Nordisch Alchemy has to cancel a class, workshop, training programme, retreat or event, you will receive a full refund for the affected service or, with your consent, an equivalent credit.

Any further rights or claims will be governed by applicable law.

4. Participation Requirements

Participation in all classes, workshops, training programmes and retreats is at your own responsibility.

By registering, you confirm that you consider yourself physically and mentally fit to participate in the relevant activity. If you have existing health concerns, injuries or other relevant limitations, we recommend seeking medical advice before participating and informing us in advance where appropriate.

Please note that our movement, breathwork and wellness offerings are not a substitute for medical treatment or therapy.

5. Liability

Participation in all activities is subject to applicable law and undertaken at your own responsibility.

Nordisch Alchemy accepts liability in accordance with applicable legal requirements. Any limitation of liability applies only to the extent permitted by law. In particular, statutory liability provisions relating to intent, gross negligence, and injury to life, body or health remain unaffected.

Nordisch Alchemy accepts no responsibility for personal belongings brought to the studio or event, to the extent permitted by law.

6. Changes to the Programme

Nordisch Alchemy reserves the right to make changes to class times, instructors, venues or individual programme elements for organisational reasons or due to unforeseen circumstances.

We will endeavour to communicate any changes as early as possible and maintain the quality of the experience. Participants' statutory rights remain unaffected.

7. Data Protection

Personal data is handled confidentially and processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Data is used to manage bookings, organise and deliver our services, and communicate with participants in connection with those services.

Personal data will only be shared with third parties where legally permitted, where necessary to fulfil the contract, or where appropriate consent has been obtained.
